Executong shortcuts?

Does anyome know of a way such that 4NT finds shortcuts similiar to
EXE files (without giving the extension.LNK)? I can execute a
shortcut by explicitly adding the extension (e.g. "winzip.lnk"), but I
have found no way to omit the extension.

I have tried to make .LNK executable by defining

SET .LNK=

but this doesn’t define an environment variable.
And the combination

alias execlink=%0
SET .LNK=execlink

led to an endless recursion in 4NT

Try "set .lnk=start" (or for best results, "set .*=start").
